Shipping and logistics

• Shipments to the GPE warehouse must arrive one week before the event.
• Receiving and delivery to your Exhibition Stand costs $10 per box up to 40 lb.
• Round-trip pallet delivery between the GPE warehouse and the event costs $250 per pallet.
• Direct event delivery: Pallets may be shipped directly, subject to convention center charges. Small packages may arrive at the convention center three days before the event. Label each shipment with the event name, Exhibition Stand number, and company name.

Exhibitor Fire & Safety Rules

The New Jersey Convention and Exposition Center follows the New Jersey Fire Code, and the Fire Marshal has final approval. All exhibitors must follow these rules:

1. Open flames are prohibited. Propane and other fuel-powered appliances are not allowed inside the building.
2. Food warming: Sternos are allowed only as safe-heat gel (not liquid), and every table using them must have a fire extinguisher.
3. Cooking: Any cooking or heating equipment must be declared to show management in advance so it can be approved by the Fire Marshal.
4. Aisles must be kept completely clear. Do not place products, boxes, seating, or displays in the aisles.
5. Never block or cover exits, fire alarm pull stations, or fire extinguishers.
6. Electrical: Use only one UL-listed, three-wire extension cord (14-gauge minimum, up to 25 ft) and one UL-listed power strip plugged directly into the outlet. Linking cords or power strips together is prohibited.
7. Drapes, fabrics, and display materials must be flame-retardant. Pop-up displays larger than 10 × 10 ft require prior approval.
8. Booth structures must not block the ceiling sprinklers.
